WAREHOUSE RECEIVING REPRESENTATIVE

Position Overview:

Warehouse Receiving Representativesare responsible for unloading trucks and processing all inbound product, verifying manufacturing part numbers, quantities, and other part information while ensuring product integrity and moving parts to the appropriate locations. In this role, you will also update product inventory in the inventory systems as product is received and moved to other locations.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to…

• Unload incoming material from trucks using forklifts

• Maintain professional conduct and relationship with drivers and outside vendors

• Verify manufacturing part numbers on product against supplier pack list and properly account for the location of incoming goods

• Perform accurate inventory counts and assist with exception counts

• Update product inventory in inventory programs as product is received and moved to warehouse or production locations

• Move all freight to appropriate areas

• Inspect quality and inventory counts of the product

• Utilize Excel worksheets

• Keep work area clean, maintain organization and maintenance of the receiving/warehouse location

• Troubleshoot, problem solve and elevate any issues to Leadership

• Complete and pass forklift certification

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or relevant work experience

• Basic Computer navigation and typing skills along with basic knowledge of Excel

• Work efficiently with the ability to prioritize daily workload with minimal supervision

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills

• Composed during stressful situations

• Detail oriented and capable of carrying out a given task with a focus on quality

• Team player and willing to learn and help others

• Motivated and flexible to work in any other area of the plant as needed

• Represent the company in a professional, friendly manner

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, reporting to work on time and as scheduled

• Support and encourage other team members

Preferred Qualifications/Selection Criteria:

• Inventory or warehouse experience helpful

Physical Requirements such as below:

• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting up to 55 pounds

The base pay range for this role starts between $18.32 to $21.29 per hour. The starting pay range for the position will be determined by several factors, such as the candidate's previous related work experience, education, knowledge, technical skills, performance and abilities. Additionally, the compensation of employees in similar roles at Central Boiler Companies and the budget allocated for the position will influence the offer.
