Schedule (may change based on business needs): 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Position Overview:

Production Planners are responsible for creating, communicating, and scheduling work orders for manufacturing and production of Central Boiler, WoodMaster and Altoz products.


Must be able to…

  • Effectively use ERP system to schedule and load work orders to ensure production requirements and deadlines are met
  • Audit and maintain work order production reports for timely manufacturing
  • Understand and interpret parts structure for parts and materials in the manufacturing of Central Boiler, WoodMaster and Altoz products
  • Understand manufacturing capabilities and capacities with production lines
  • Generate production reports to schedule and load work orders
  • Perform timely and accurate processing of schedule changes and updates alerting appropriate departments
  • Support manufacturing for labor corrections, work order maintenance, rework, and material flow changes
  • Expedite any priority parts to support production and sales
  • Implement schedule changes in production and adjust workflow to support the requested change
  • Reprioritize dispatch lists for departments as needed to adapt to changes and support production as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of progressive experience with ERP/MRP in a manufacturing setting
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a production facility
  • High School diploma, GED or relevant work experience
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, reporting to work on time and as scheduled
  • Promote and follow all company safety guidelines and initiatives
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Work efficiently with the ability to prioritize daily workload
  • Willingness to learn and help others
  • Detail oriented and capable of carrying out a given task with a commitment to quality
  • Motivated and flexible to work in any other area of the plant as needed
  • Composed during stressful situations
  • Represent the company in a professional, friendly manner
  • Support and encourage other team members

Physical Requirements such as below:

  • Physical requirements include: sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50 – 75 pounds and reading
  • Generally spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  • Generally spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

Preferred Qualifications/Selection Criteria:

  • Previous manufacturing experience helpful
